Ingredients: Flour [wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamine], Water, West Country Farmhouse Cheddar Cheese (20%) (milk), Butter [milk, contains colour: beta carotene], Chilli powder (4%) [rice flour, paprika, sugar, onion, tomato, garlic powder, yeast extract, dried spirit vinegar, natural flavouring, cayenne chilli, fennel, chilli, clove, paprika extract], Salt, Mustard powder.

Blackbeard the Pirate Captain

The feared and hated sea-robber Blackbeard is probably the most famous pirate captain of all time. Born in Bristol, he is said to have set fire to his hair and long black beard to intimidate his opponents during his frequent encounters. In his last battle, pirate lore claims he continued fighting despite sustaining five gun shots and twenty sword wounds before he was finally decapitated and thrown overboard. All manner of booty including jewels and exotic spices were seized from hapless victims. The West Country pirates’ intimate knowledge of local coasts, sheltered creeks and hidden anchorages helped them bring their pillage secretly ashore.
